NC Tennis Foundation: Program and Development Director (PDD) -

The North Carolina Tennis Foundation is seeking a highly motivated person to fill the Program and Development Director position.  This person will be responsible for raising the awareness of the NC Tennis Foundation. The candidate must be knowledgeable in development and grant engagement, have the ability to take initiative and work independently as well as collaboratively, be capable of coordinating a high level of detail, and have the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines.  A passion for tennis and a strong tennis background is highly recommmended.

Individual must be a team player, willing to assume new responsibilities as they may arise. Travel throughout North Carolina and occasional out of state trips is expected. He or she must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and working knowledge of social media.  The starting salary range is between $40-50K.  This is an exempt position. The person will be based out of the NC Tennis office in Greensboro. There is no option to telecommute.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a college degree
  • Strong computer skills
  • A love of tennis is required and a strong tennis background is needed.
  • Background or strong aptitude in fund raising, grants.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills under limited supervision.
  • Proven ability to plan, manage and executive multiple tasks simultaneously and on a deadline.
  • Outgoing and energetic with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Valid NC Driver’s License and ability to drive across the state
