Community Program & Training Coordinator
NCTA is seeking a highly motivated person with a strong tennis background to fill the Community Program & Training Coordinator position. This position will coordinate and expand the USTA School Tennis program and work with but not be limited to local schools, parks and recreation departments , Y’s etc to expand the 10 & Under format in after school and camp programs. The person will coordinate and often do trainings using the 10 & Under format. The person will also work with local CTA’s and other local tennis organizations for carnivals and other on court trainings. The successful candidate must have the ability to take initiative and work independently as well as collaboratively. He or she must show a demonstrated ability in tennis of 4.0 or higher. A teaching and or playing background is preferred. The candidate must be extremely organized, capable of coordinating a high level of detail and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines. Individual must be a team player, willing to assume new responsibilities as they may arise. Travel throughout North Carolina and occasional out of state trips is expected. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who has strong interpersonal and customer service skills. He or she must be proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Access, Excel and PowerPoint. The starting salary range is between $31-33k. This is a non-exempt position. The person will be based out of the NC Tennis office in Greensboro. There is no option for telecommuting.

Assistant Tennis Pro
Croasdaile Country Club has an opening for a talented, ambitious and high energy level Assistant Professional with current USPTA certification ( or willingness to obtain)and college degree. Croasdaile has 4 clay courts and 2 hard courts. Primary function : Responsible for providing Club members with quality professional instruction focusing on learning, sportsmanship and enjoyment of tennis. Will assist the Director of Tennis in the coordination and implementation of junior and adult programs, events and tournaments. Attends all major tennis functions and tournaments. Assist in necessary daily court maintenance along with Pro Shop hours, racket stringing and teaching private and group lessons to juniors and adults: Would prefer individual with prior 10 & under training/certification to help continue the growth of 10 & Under tennis. Prefer a former competitive junior and or college tennis player who has a passion for the sport. It is ideal for someone who wishes to pursue a career in tennis, and is interested in building their resume toward a position as a Head Professional or Tennis Director Salary and hourly rate for other duties will be based on experience. Health benefits are available. Green Card needed. The compensation package will include a salary and a commission on lessons and stringing. This is a year round position with a health plan and the potential for other benefits.
