What’s Up in NC Junior Tennis? (Updated 6/8/2010)

IMPORTANT JUNIOR SUSPENSION POINT INFORMATION

Please note the rules below pertain to ALL sanctioned North Carolina and Southern tournaments.

11 .“A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments is scheduled to overlap unless each tournament committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing.”

12 .“Player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament.”

What if placed on an alternate list?   There are two options:

  1. Stay on the alternate lists in hope of getting into the tournament.
  2. Withdraw from the alternate list so you can legally enter another tournament.

Rule violations are from Friend at Court (reg.1N. 11 & 12). Suspension points are assessed for violation of the above rules. First offense = two (2) points. Second offense = five (5) points.
