2010 Tennis Weekend

We are heading back to Pinehurst for our Tennis Weekend January 28-30, 2010 at the beautiful Carolina Hotel!

Detailed Tennis Weekend Schedule

**Tennis Weekend meetings and events are still on as scheduled. For those traveling to Pinehurst, please do not risk travel if conditions are unsafe. Any questions can be directed to Kelly via kelly@nctennis.com.**

What is Tennis Weekend? Tennis Weekend began in the 1970’s to allow a time for all of North Carolina’s tennis population to come together. Traditionally, meetings are held for the tennis professionals, tournament directors, NCTA committees, NC Tennis Foundation Board of Directors and the NC Tennis Association Board of Directors (slate). The Annual meetings of the NC Tennis Association and the North Carolina Tennis Foundation are also held at this time. Again this year we will have an expanded vendor show. The culmination of the weekend is the NC Tennis Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony. Going into our NC Tennis Hall of Fame will be Tom Morris, of Blount’s Creek, and Tom Willson, of Cashiers. Click here for details on the inductees.

To take advantage of our incredible hotel rate ($122 for single room occupancy and $71/person for double occupancy) please fill out a Room Reservation Form. After December 29th all room rates are subject to increase, so please make your plans before Tuesday, December 29, 2009! You must use this form to secure a room reservation at the Carolina Hotel.

NCTF Board of Directors, NCTA Board of Directors, Committee Members, Tournament Directors, Teaching Professionals and Vendors will need to also fill out a Tennis Weekend Main Registration Form. Your guests are NOT required to fill out a separate form but will need to be accounted for in your meal reservations. The registration form will indicate the total amount owed for meals. Please send a check, made payable to NCTA, for this full amount by Friday, January 8, 2010 and send to the NC Tennis Association, 2709 Henry St, Greensboro, NC 27405.
