USTA League Mixed Doubles

Come and play in one of the most FUN and social leagues that the USTA offers, the USTA LEAGUE MIXED DOUBLES. Teams are comprised of up to 14 players playing 3 doubles matches where the doubles teams combined NTRP rating does not exceed the level that they are entering. The league uses the NTRP rating system and a player must either have a computer or self-rating.

To participate:

• Must be at least 18 years of age; 50 and older for the senior division
• Have current USTA membership
• Have an NTRP computer rating or must self-rate themselves according to the NTRP guidelines

Levels of Play:

• Adult Division: 5.0 to 10.0
• Senior Division: 5.0 to 9.0

*The combined levels of each doubles pair cannot exceed the team level. No individual team can be separated by more than 1.0 in NTRP level. An example is a 3.5 and a 4.5 can play 8.0 but a 5.0 and a 3.0 cannot play.

Season: June to August
Registration: Late April thru early May
State Championship: September 17-19, 2010 ~ Wilson
Sectional Championship: October 15-17, 2010 ~ Jackson, MS

National Championship: 2.5, 7.0, 9.0 ~ November 12-14, 2010 ~ Tucson, AZ

                                     6.0, 8.0, 10.0 ~ November 19-21, 2010 ~ Tucson, AZ

                                     Seniors ~ April 7-10, 2011 ~ Tucson, AZ

All players, teams, and local leagues must abide by all USTA, Southern Section, North Carolina and Local league rules and regulations.
