USTA North Carolina Grants USTA North Carolina GrantsThe following open-deadline grant opportunities are available to registered CTAs. Grant requests must be submitted at least one month prior to the date the activity is scheduled to occur. Activities must be initiated during the calendar year in which the grant is requested. Grant requests may be up to $1,000.00, unless otherwise indicated. A maximum amount of $15.00 per projected participant may be applied. An Accountability Form (1.9MB Word Document) must be completed within 30 days after the completion of a program, project and/or receipt of Operations Grant. 2013 NC 10 & Under Equipment Grant The following grant requests should indicate what types of marketing and promotion will be used to create awareness for the activity, along with any related expenses.
2013 Kids Tennis Club Equipment Grant The grant is a one-time grant worth up to $250.00 for Elementary Schools that organize a Kids Tennis Club. The USTA North Carolina Schools, Partnerships and growth Committee will make final decision on grants that are submitted. The school will determine the tennis equipment that it would like the USTA North Carolina to purchase.
2013 USTA North Carolina Skillastics Grant Each PE teacher (1 per school) that attends, or has attended, a school tennis in-service and has USTA organizational membership, is eligible to apply for a skillastics kit grant.
2013 USTA 36' and 60' Tennis Collegiate Line Grant NOTE: The 2012 version of this grant is currently linked above and will be accepted for the 2013 year. Painting permanent 36' and 60' tennis lines for 10 and Under Tennis at your campus facility is the next step in creating permanency and changing the face of Kids Tennis in America. The USTA wants to partner with your college or university to help you accomplish this common goal, and grow youth tennis to its fullest.
2013 USTA 36' and 60' Playground Line Grant NOTE: The 2012 version of this grant is currently linked above and will be accepted for the 2013 year. Painting permanent 36' and 60' tennis lines for 10 and Under Tennis at your school or community playground will help create permanency and help change the face of Kids Tennis in America. The USTA wants to partner with your community to help you accomplish this common goal, and grow youth tennis to its fullest. Your school or playground can be a part of getting your community ready for explosive growth in this lifelong sport.
2013 USTA 10 and Under Tennis 36' and 60' Line & Conversion Grant NOTE: The 2012 version of this grant is currently linked above and will be accepted for the 2013 year. The USTA has pledged funding to be awarded on a “first come, first served” basis as approved by the USTA to communities across the country to assist with the painting of 36' and 60' tennis lines on existing courts in good condition. This grant is also available for temporary lines on clay courts. Funding will be held for up to 60 days after approval. Failure to complete the project within 60 days may result in funds being released to other communities.
