- Assistant Tennis Professional -

Duke Faculty Club (Durham, NC)

Main responsibilities of the Assistant Pro is teaching private lessons and group clinics to adult and junior members during daytime, evening and weekend hours with special emphasis on Sunday private lessons. Preferred 2 years of teaching experience with juniors and adults. Must have experience in tennis program administration and demonstrate the ability to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events. USPTA or USPTR certification required.

Other job duties include working 8 weeks of summer camp, stringing rackets, court maintenance, admin and assisting with club events.  Hours are 35-40 per week. Compensation is salary plus inclusion in Duke’s attractive health care and retirement plan. The Duke Faculty Club is a year-round swim and tennis recreational facility serving Duke University employees and their families.

Croasdaile Country Club (Durham, NC)

Croasdaile is an established club with 4 Har-tru courts and 2 Hard Courts. Position is best suited for individual just starting in the business and needing to learn all aspects of the profession. Candidate must be self motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude along with a desire to learn, USPTA certification required within 90-120 days ( if not already certified) along with some teaching experience.

Marketing & Promotions Coordinator (Nashville, TN)

Reports to: Executive Director

Work Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Type: Full Time

Overview: The primary focus of this position is to coordinate the marketing and promotion of all USTA leagues, programs, and events for the state of Tennessee

Objectives: ·Coordinate all aspects of marketing and promotion for USTA TN programs and events.

·Develop and execute an overall strategic marketing plan for the growth for membership and programming in the state of Tennessee.

·Become a liaison and resource for CTAs, facilities, tennis professionals, and communities statewide to promote and grow local programming and events.

·Oversee the USTA TN marketing budget.
