Community Engagement & Training Coordinator

USTA North Carolina is seeking a highly motivated person with a strong tennis background to fill the Community Engagement & Training Coordinator position. The Community Engagement and Training Coordinator will work to grow tennis in North Carolina by educating and increasing awareness regarding opportunities to utilize tennis in communities. The successful candidate must have the ability to take initiative and work independently as well as collaboratively. He or she must show a demonstrated ability in tennis of 4.0 or higher. A teaching background is preferred. The candidate must be extremely organized, capable of coordinating a high level of detail and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines. Individual must be a team player, willing to assume new responsibilities as they may arise. Travel throughout North Carolina and occasional out of state trips is expected. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who has strong interpersonal and customer service skills. He or she must be proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Access, Excel and PowerPoint. The starting salary range is between $31-34k. This is a non-exempt position. The person will be based out of the NC Tennis office in Greensboro. There is no option for telecommuting.
