Wheelchair Tennis

NC Wheelchair Tennis Clinics are being taught by certified Wheelchair instructors. All levels are welcome from beginners to advanced!

Our Mission: Wheelchair tennis is one of the fastest growing recreational and competitive sports across the globe and is becoming one of the most accessible and integrated sports around the world. It is the mission of the North Carolina Tennis Association (NCTA) to make tennis available to everyone, whatever the level of impairment. Tennis is adapted to the disability, not the disability to tennis. Because playing tennis benefits one’s health, fitness, selfconfidence, self-esteem and even provides movement skills necessary for independent living, the NCTA promotes tennis in the communities, city parks, college campuses, tennis centers, and medical facilities. Come join us on the courts for fun, friendship, and fulfillment.

Cost of the clinic is $5 per session. No need to call ahead. Tennis Wheelchairs are available at each location for use by participants.
