USTA National GF/GS Doubles Champs

The USTA National Grandfather/Grandson Hard Court Doubles Championships concluded on Sunday at the beautiful La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club in La Jolla, California. The third-seeded team of Chase Helpingstine (San Francisco, CA) and Ronald Keiger (Wilmington, NC), teamed up for a 6-0, 6-0 victory over the unseeded team of Bob Hoffman (West Hempstead, NY) and Christopher Schwab (Massapequa, NY).

Ron (Left) is a lifelong North Carolina tennis player who still competes in USTA League events. Chase (Right) was a standout North Carolina junior who played at Chapel Hill High School  before playing college tennis at Elon University.
