A record-breaking number of juniors took the courts in Lake Norman from July 17-19, marking the largest USTA North Carolina Junior Team Tennis (JTT) State Championships in history. Over 600 players and a total of 92 teams were in action at this year's tournament, shattering previous participation highs.
This was the first year Lake Norman hosted the JTT State Championships. River Run Country Club served as the man site for the 2015 event, and the Lake Norman Tennis Association did an incredible job with volunteering and supporting the event.
Caroline Downs, Junior & College League Coordinator, was excited to see the largest turnout in North Carolina's JTT history.
"It's awesome to see how many juniors and teams we have playing here. JTT continues to grow every year, and we're thrilled to be adding new programs and players across the state," Downs said.
If you played in the tournament, here are some things to keep in mind.
We hope everyone had an awesome time! If you have questions about photos, email email@example.com.
