• College Scholarships: We offer 4 scholarships per year to incoming college freshmen @ $1,000/year for 4 years (as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA). The primary criteria is academic results. The student must be a tennis player, but being a top ranked player is not a requirement. The application can be completed in 30 minutes. Application deadline March 1.

USTA North Carolina inducted two new members into the North Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame and honored 35 award recipients at the 2016 Tennis Weekend in Pinehurst.
The late Mary Lloyd Barbera and Mark Dillon comprised the newest Hall of Fame class. Barbera, a Henderson native, but lived most of her adult life in Greensboro, was posthumously honored. Earlier this year, she unexpectedly passed away at the age of 49. Her legacy as a player and advocate of tennis in North Carolina made her one of the faces of the sport across the state.
Isner to bring Roddick, Bryan brothers to Charlotte for exhibition
The No. 11 ranked player on the ATP World Tour is planning an exhibition for his home state on Feb. 4. John Isner will host his annual Ebix Charity Challenge at UNC Charlotte's Halton Arena, and he'll bring former world No. 1 Andy Roddick and the legendary Bryan brothers to join in on the fun.
Team NC players excel at NCHSAA Tennis Championships
The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) held the 2015 Women's Tennis State Championships on Oct. 30-31, crowning singles and doubles champions across the four levels of high school tennis. Some familiar faces kept their reign in tact, including 4-A singles champion Susanne Boyden, 4-A doubles champion Sammi Smith and 3-A singles champion Adrienne Haynes, all players who have been a part of Team North Carolina.
